Ended at level 107 with 9712 gold made and basically spent the last ten minutes of the level just occasionally checking in to collect orbs for levels to make money off of but otherwise just texting people, lol.Įdit 2: Got a really bad run trying this again. I had the lightning ring, duplicator, and Spinach for the last slots. I ran the evolved Wand, Garlic, Bible, and Santa Water. Created a perfect no fly zone at the end due to the absurd knock back going on. Imma go try that, lolĮdit: Took it for a test drive on Hyper Library and that was gross. That said it might be really really funny with Lord Boneo and his wall of femurs triggering a knock back bonanza. The problem with Garlic is that it's more defensive than DPSy and the evolve item for it sucks which wasted a slot so Garlic is amusing low to mid game but really slacks off end game when you need to be laying down nonstop nukes to survive. It does and it's kinda funny when combod with the wand that auto targets the closest target. Doesn’t it say that it reduces enemy resistance to knock back and freezing? I like garlic for how it can kinda push the mob away. I concur that as great as it is, it'd be nice to have a full run doable in more like 20 min. Not just hyper mode, but increments of 10% faster, maybe up to 100%? Completing a '30 minute run' in 15 min or so (plus time selecting upgrades) would be nice. It would be nice if they added a modifier that sped up time. Like someone else mentioned earlier, I lost a run at 25 min that was going fine, I just wasn't paying close enough attention and the boss got me while I was distracted. There are the previously bemoaned ones that aren't all that good unless you really want a particular evolutions, but once the books, birds, and a couple other flung attacks are going, it's basically just a matter of babysitting things when a mini boss or boss comes that can actually walk into the maelstrom. Off the cuff, I'd say I consider Spinach and Absorb Orb to be Must Have passives. The Forest can push you up to 10 apparently, but the ones that spawn there I'm less enthusiastic about, off the cuff. Oh, doubly so since the Library makes it easy to get up to 8 passives. The way the game pushes things to you, making the immediate vicinity a no-man's land of death and destruction is my primary focus. In most cases, especially for gold farming in the library, the book is sufficient for basically everything you need, especially as other stuff gets built up incidentally. I was all about Poe, but that was when I was rocking Garlic and the Book simultaneously. They've more than earned it, and continue to do so with the little updates being released.Ĭollection done, achievements done (again), all characters unlocked, and after resetting my power ups and buying them again, I've got 45k sitting idle and still I want to fire it up and dive in for another half hour of shenanigans.ĭommario is my go-to so far. I picked it up a bit over a week ago and have put a truly staggering number of hours in so far.Ībsolutely a game (especially as a legit small indie developer) that I wouldn't mind putting down another $5 in DLC or something. Seriously, they need to do something to get paid since $3 is a steal. That's quite an accomplishment and well deserved. Vampire Survivors in the top 20 for most players playing. Alternatively, if you have weapons where you can control the direction of fire (knives, axes, garlic, book) you can force an opening in the flowers to escape from. The first two flower waves will despawn if you survive long enough. The other option is to be able to move through the flower wall and get some breathing room to dodge. To survive you've got to have the dps to down the bats or you're likely to be trapped and killed. Yeah, the second flower wave that is paired with big bats is a hard dps (or mobility) check. It also means your kill areas and thus xp pickup areas are more concentrated because there's less screen the mobs will fill up. You never have to worry about mobs spawning above or below you. Specifically the waves when the flowers spawn, the flowers have extremely high hp and trap you in a circle with other high hp mobs who want to beat you to death.Īlso the forest is a 2D level where Library is basically 1D. Was playing Krochi just to get the achievement, and didn't die, so ended up with 3 respawns on the reaper (not that I could move anywhere) but that pulled in bunch of extra gold from all the collecting/leveling up as everything disappeared and I moved an inch on the screen. Ended up with 5 evolved items and the Runetracer. Finished another 30mins run, yet again in library (cannot figure out why my Mad Forest runs are doomed).
